Philippe Ghanem (born October 4, 1980) is the CEO of ADS Securities and vice chairman of ADS Holding, the parent company of ADS Securities.[3][4][5][6][7][8] In November 2014, he was named the Chairman of ADS Securities London Limited, a UK company authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).[9][10]

Career

In 2005, Philippe Ghanem and Georges Cohen co-founded the Dublin-based Squared Financial Services Limited.[11][12] In February 2011, Ghanem was appointed managing director of ADS Securities.[13] He now serves as CEO of ADS Securities and vice chairman of ADS Holding, ADS Securities' parent company.[14][15]

Ghanem was a featured speaker at the Forbes Global CEO Conference, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in September 2011 and at London's Abu Dhabi Investment Forum in October 2012.[12][16][17] He is a regular contributor to international business media including as a guest host on CNBC Europe's Squawk Box program.[18]

Personal life

Ghanem received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from the International University in Geneva in 2002.[19] Ghanem was born in Switzerland and lives in Abu Dhabi. He and his wife, Maya, were married in 2011 and have one daughter. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.[20] Philippe also has two children by a first marriage.
