Prabhakar is an Indian film actor, famously known as Kalakeya [1] in Baahubali. He has starred in films like MaryadaRamanna, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for 2010, and Dongaata starring Lakshmi Manchu and Adivi Sesh.
Personal life
Prabhakar was born in Hasanabad, Raichur, India in 1981. He studied in Hasanabad and then shifted to Ananta Padmanabha college in Vikarabad.[2] His wife RajyaLakshmi is a homemaker and sons Sriram Rajamouli, Ritvik Preetam who was named after the name of famous director Rajamouli who offered the role of Kalakeya in Baahubali [3]
Early career
Prabhakar played a minor role as villain in Mahesh Babu's Athidi movie directed by Surender Reddy and supporting artiste in his earlier career. He has starred in more than 40 Telugu films. His first film which made him recognized as an actor was MaryadaRamanna,[4] which was produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineniand, directed by S.S.Rajamouli which was released on 23 July 2010.He also acted in Gabbar Singh directed by Harish Shankar, Dookudu, Aagadu, Lion and many more which played well at box office.His latest flick Sarrainodu movie remained as the third highest grossing Telugu film. Prabhakar is currently acting in Right Right movie directed by Manu starring Sumanth Ashwin and Pooja Zaveri in which he plays a very important role.[5]
