Prattville Christian Academy or PCA is a Christian private school, located in Prattville, Alabama. The school includes kindergarten through twelfth grade. The average class size can range from 10 to 20 in advanced classes and 20-25 in basic classes. The president of the school is Ron Mitchell. The mascot of the school is a black Panther and the school colors are purple and black. The school's original gymnasium was completely destroyed during a tornado on Sunday, February 17, 2008, but a second was created a few years later in the main area of the high school building. The school consists of two buildings, a building for primary education with an adjoining middle school and a second high school building. The school broke ground on January 28, 2016 on a new science wing with integrated lab stations, coaches office, Bible wing and two multipurpose rooms. The school's motto is "Excellence in a Christian environment". The school is also known to have a strict uniform, consisting of khaki shorts/pants for the males, and a possibility of skirts for the females, each student having to wear a PCA polo with the official emblem, as well as having to wear only PCA approved jackets.

The Prattville Christian Academy football team is currently coached by John Fussell. Preston Judah is the offensive coordinator and the defensive coordinator is Trent Staggs. The team competes in the AHSAA Class 3A Region 3. The 2014 football team finished with a overall regular season record of 4-6 and a region record of 3-3, and made the AHSAA Playoffs for the first time in school history.[1][2]
