The Progressive Party (Hangul: 진보당; Hanja: 進步黨) was a short-lived moderate socialist political party founded after the Korean War in South Korea under the leadership of Cho Bong-am.[2] It was a major political force from 1956 to 1958, and fell apart in 1959.
