Rai Hau-min (Chinese: 賴浩敏; pinyin: Lài Hàomǐn; born 2 January 1939)[1] in Tō'oku Village, Shinchiku Prefecture, Japanese Taiwan, was the President of the Judicial Yuan of the Republic of China in 2010-2016. An attorney by profession, Rai founded the Formosa Transnational Attroney at Law (萬國法律事務所) in 1974,[2] and served as the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of China from 4 November 2009 to 12 October 2010 before his appointment as President of the Judicial Yuan.[3]
Early life
Rai obtained his bachelor's and master's degree in law from National Taiwan University and University of Tokyo in Japan respectively.
