Ramadan Darwish (born 29 January 1988 in Gharbia, Egypt) is an Egyptian judoka.[1] Ramadan Darwish won a bronze medal at the 2009 World Championships in Rotterdam -100kg. He is multiple African Champion and won Grand Prix is Qingdao (2009), Tashkent (2014 and Budapest in 2015. In 2016 he won gold at the Euro Open in Sofia. He was IJF world number 2 in 2009. African champion 2016,and he competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the -100 kg event.[2] and at 2016 Summer Olympics.

Darwish refused to shake hands with Israeli judoka Arik Zeevi at the quarterfinals of the 2011 Judo Grand Slam in Moscow, Russia, and again in the quarterfinals of a Dusseldorf, Germany judo Grand Prix, shouting "Allahu Akbar".
