Refah School (Tehran, Iran)

Refah School is an elementary school for girls in southern Tehran, Iran with historical significance in the Iranian Revolution. It was established in 1968. This school has also inspired books in the western hemisphere.[1]

Location

It is located next to the Majlis building and the Sepahsalar Mosque.[1]

Iranian Revolution

The school was Ruhollah Khomeini's headquarters and residence for the revolution.[1] It was also used as a prison, court and place of execution during the revolution.[2]
