Repvblik is an Indonesian pop band formed in 2004 in Bogor, East Java. The group consists of Ruri Herdian Wantogia, Hexanantha Sayuthi, Lafi Hariyatulafian, Bachtiar Rahman Hamzah, Agus Mulyana and Heri Masrulah Achmad. Currently, Repvblik had released five studio albums, including religious album.

Career

Career beginnings and Punya Arti

Formed in March 24, 2004, each personnel had compete in every festival in Jabodetabek. Then, they had come together due to each personnel hit by a vacuum and synergize with a spirit of nationalism. After that, they had forming its band.

Repvblik had signed EMI Music Indonesia on 2007 and released the single, entitled "Hanya Ingin Kau Tahu", as their debut single. After that, their debut studio album, Punya Arti was released on 2007 and also releasing repackaged version, which only adding two new single "Buatku Abadi" and "Sudah Cukup". Still same of year by Ramadhan, the band launched religious album, entitled Hidupku di Jalan-Mu.

2009–2011: Aku dan Perasaan Ini and Transisi

Their second studio album Aku dan Perasaan Ini had released on 2009 and produced first same-titled album single. The album has been lowest sales album in Indonesian market. After two years later, Repvblik had released third studio albums, entitled Transisi by Arka Music Indonesia (formerly EMI Music Indonesia) and released first single "Harus Berbuat Apa Lagi". It had making the group little popularity in music industry.

2013–present: Sandiwara Cinta

Before releasing their fourth studio album, Repvblik had appointed as singing original soundtrack to single "Sepatuku" for drama film Sepatu Dahlan. In addition, the band had officially released fourth album Sandiwara Cinta by Pro-M[1] and released two single "Sandiwara Cinta" and "Selimut Tetangga" which had occupied in Indonesian and Malaysian chart song.[2] Its both of single had reaching more successfully in all of Indonesia and winning three Dahsyatnya Awards (in 2014 and 2015), nominated for 2015 Anugerah Musik Indonesia, etc.
