Roger Edmund Philbert Stanislaus (born 2 November 1968) is an English former professional footballer. Stanislaus began his career at Arsenal as a trainee on leaving school in 1985, but left two years later after failing to earn himself a professional contract. He then spent three seasons with Brentford and five with Bury, before his ill-fated transfer to Orient in the summer of 1995.[1]
In February 1996, his contract with Leyton Orient was terminated by the club after he had been banned by the Football Association for 12 months for using a performance-enhancing drug (cocaine). He claimed that he had taken the cocaine at a family funeral two days before being tested.
