Rohit Nayyar (also known as Rohit) is an Indian film actor who began his career with film ‘Chot’ which co-starred Ashutosh Rana, Sharad Kapoor, Jesse Randhawa, Nethra Raghuraman among others. In this film, he portrayed a sensitive character in a tale of a family of migrants who fight against the mafia and criminal elements.[1]

Subsequently, his next release was titled "Do Dilon ke Khel mein", a romantic comedy, where he played the lead role. This film had stalwarts like Rajesh Khanna, Anu Kapoor and Satish Kaushik. The movie had Rohit playing the central role in a love story between two warring families from two separate cultural backgrounds.[2]

Apart from films, Rohit has also appeared in a Jagjit singh music video.[3]

Rohit is currently working on Romantic Feature Yun Hi with Elena Kazan directed by Yogesh Dattatraya Gosavi and recently completed shooting of Faizan Kareem's' 'Untitled Film' co-Starring Dipannita Sharma, Sharat Saxena, Manjot Singh And Murli Sharma

Early life

Rohit was born into a Punjabi family .Rohit’s formative years were spent in Lonavla, where he finished his schooling and junior college at Don Bosco. After his graduation in Commerce, he also went on to do a degree in law from the Symbiosis Institute in Pune.

Rohit is also an avid sportsperson, and enjoys a good game of Table Tennis and Badminton. He is also trained in martial arts.
