Ronny Chieng: International Student
Ronny Chieng: International Student is an Australian television comedy series first screened on the ABC in 2016. It follows the adventures of comedian Ronny Chieng as an international student, partly fictional and partly based on his own experiences as a law student in Melbourne, Australia.
Production
The series began as part of the comedy anthology series Comedy Showroom which screened in 2016. Six new comedies screened in the series, which were seen as potential pilots for a full TV series.[1] "Ronny Chieng: International Student" won a full season which will air on the ABC in Australia and Comedy Central in the US in June 2017.[2]
