Room 8 Studio is an interactive entertainment company based in Ukraine. The company was founded in 2011 as a mobile game development studio. Nowadays, in addition to creating their own products, the company provides art and production services for industry leaders.
Company history
Room 8 Studio was founded in 2011 with a goal to create high-quality mobile games. Later in 2012 Room 8 Studio received its first round of funding from Vostok Ventures and began its growth.
On February 21, 2013 the first game developed by Room 8 Studio was published [1] - Cyto's Puzzle Adventure and it was featured right off by the App Store in the Best New Games category in 68 countries.
In July 2013 Room 8 Studio released its second game Riot Runners that won “Game in Show - Audience Award” at Casual Connect Kyiv 2013.[2] Riot Runners made its soft launch on Canadian and German App Stores,[3][4] and released globally in February 2014.
On September 24, 2014 the company released the music game Piano City,[5] which was acknowledged by the App Store and listed as #5 in the Best Games of September collection and reached #1 music game rank in 126 countries.[6]
In 2016 Room 8 Studio is working on the new casual music game Little Piano Monsters and continues co-developing several projects in cooperation with industry leading interactive entertainment companies.

The company consists of two main divisions, which work together on full cycle projects.
The Art Division
Specializing in interactive art, offers pre-production, UI/UX, 2D/3D design, modeling and animation services.
The Production Division
Specializing in social and mobile games development. Provides porting, prototyping, development and co-development services.
