Rumble is a Toronto-based online video platform.

Overview

Rumble has about 21,000 social video creators using the site,[1] including both professional creators and amateurs. These videos are distributed to news and media partners, and are monetized through Rumble. In 2016, the video archives became a part of the collection of Getty Images.[2] They also began hosting and distributing videos for Studio 71.[3] The company was founded in 2013 by CEO Chris Pavlovski.[4] In addition to the video platform, where uploaders can host and stream their videos, Rumble also has the Rumble Videowire service for news organizations and other organizations to source and license social videos.[5]

Statistics

It also uses an algorithm called Rumble Rank to predetermine the distribution potential of videos before release.[6] In 2015, the platform's videos received around one billion views across its partner sites, with about ten million unique visitors.[3][7] Video creators receive thirty percent of the revenues the company earns from each work.[8]
