Sally Newmarch (born 2 June 1975) is an Australian triple Olympic rower. Sally Newmarch and Amber Halliday broke the light weight women's double scull world record at the 2004 Athens Olympics,[1] Newmarch currently holds the Australian ergometer record.[2] Newmarch now resides in Brisbane, Australia.[3] She attended Annesley College in Wayville, a suburb of Adelaide rowing at the torrens rowing club.
Newmarch was employed at the Wilderness School as the rowing coordinator, [4] and also at Methodist Ladies' College, Perth as the Sports Coordinator and a rowing coach.[5] She is currently Director of Rowing at Brisbane Girls Grammar School in Brisbane, Australia.
