Shahriar Chowdhury Emon (19 September 1971  6 September 1996; known by his stage name Salman Shah) was a Bangladeshi actor.[1][2][3] He started his career with the first episode of the television serial Pathor Shomoy. He also appeared as a model in television advertisements.

Career

Shah got his break-through in the film Keyamot Theke Keyamot in 1993. It was directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan. The film was a remake of an Indian film named Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, released in 1988.[4] He started his acting career in television drama. He acted in a total of 27 films. His film career was associated with first Moushumi and then Shabnur.

Death

Salman Shah died 6 September 1996. He was found hanging from the ceiling of his bedroom at Iskaton, Dhaka.[5]
