Samsonia erythrinae

Samsonia is a genus of Gram-negative bacteria in the family Enterobacteriaceae. Species within this genus were originally found in the bark of diseased Erythrina trees.[1] Among bacterial plant pathogens within the Enterobacteriaceae, Samsonia species may be most closely related to Pectobacterium species.[2] Up to now there is only one species of this genus known (Samsonia erythrinae).[3]
