Sargochromis is a genus of haplochromine cichlids native to Southern and Central Africa.

There are currently eight recognized species in this genus:[1]

Distribution

Some of the species have rather restricted geographic ranges; for example, S. coulteri is known chiefly from the Kunene and upper Zambezi River basins.[2]
