Sasthi Brata

Sasthi Brata (1939 - 2015), birthname Sasthibrata Chakravarti, was a Britain-based Indo-Anglian writer of fiction. He was educated at Calcutta Boys' School, Kolkata and then at Presidency College, Kolkata, then affiliated with the University of Calcutta.[1][2][3]

Post literary career

After his literary career, he had worked as a salesman for air conditioners, a lavatory attendant, a postman, a kitchen porter, to supplement Britain's paltry state pension.[4]
