Rear Admiral Scott Edward George Bishop OMM CD is an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy, currently serving as Director General International Security Policy for the Department of National Defence.[2]

He joined the Naval Reserve 1983 before joining the Regular Force in 1985.He commanded HMCS Halifax in 2005.

He also served as Commander Maritime Operations Group Five, Commander Canadian Fleet Pacific in August 2012,[3] and Commander Canadian Fleet Atlantic in 2013.[4][5]
