Seapine Software is a privately held Mason, Ohio-based software and services company. Seapine develops a suite of software products that manage the full software development lifecycle.[1] Seapine's tools include testing tools, configuration management, test-case management, and requirements management.[2]

History

Seapine was established in 1995 by Rick and Kelly Riccetti with the mission to help companies improve software quality through process improvements and better tools.[3] The company shipped their first product, TestTrack Pro, in 1996.[4] Seapine has grown into a leading vendor of software test management solutions.[5] Seapine develops software for a variety of industries, including health care, financial services, utilities and game development.[6]

The SD Times 100 is an annual list of the top innovators and leaders in the software development industry.[7] Seapine was on the SD Times 100 list in 2006,[8] 2007,[9] 2008,[10] 2009,[11] 2010,[12] 2011,[13] 2012,[14] 2013,[15] 2014,[16] and 2015.[17]

In 2012, Seapine built a new 50,000 square-foot technology headquarters in Mason, OH for their 100+ employees.[6]

In 2013, Seapine was rated a Champion in the application lifecycle management space by Info-Tech Research[18]

In 2016, Perforce Software acquired Seapine Software.[19]

Awards

Seapine has won various Jolt Awards including QA Wizard in 2011,[20] Surround SCM in 2008,[21] and TestTrack Studio in 2007.[22] Seapine won a merit award from Visual Studio Magazine in 2010.[23]
