Sefa Kavaz (born on July 17, 1997) is a Turkish ice hockey forward. He plays for Erzurum BB GSK and is a member of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team. The 1.60 m (5 ft 3 in) tall defender at 65 kg (143 lb) shoots left-handed.[1]

Playing career

Club

Sefa Kavaz began to play ice hockey entering Erzurum Gençlik SK in the 2012–13 season. After three seasons, he transferred to the Erzurum Büyükşehir Belediyesi GSK in the same city, which compete in the Turkish Ice Hockey First League.[1][2]

International

Kavaz participated at the IIHF World U18 Championship as a member of the Turkey U-18 team in 2013 in Sochi, Russia, 2014 in İzmir, Turkey and 2015 in Auckland, New Zealand.[1]

He played at the IIHF World U20 Championship matches for the Turkey U-20 team in 2014 in İzmir, Turkey, 2015 in Dunedin, New Zealand and 2016 in Mexico City, Mexico.[1]

In 2016, he took part at the IIHF World Championship Division III in Istanbul, Turkey for the Turkey men's national ice hockey team.[1]
