Shauna Sand (born September 2, 1971)[1] is an American actress and Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for May 1996.
Early life
Starting at age five, Sand studied ballet, jazz and theatre. At 11, she enrolled in The School of Creative and Performing Arts, and by 13 she received a dance scholarship with Ballet West in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Career
She began modeling at the age of nine. She took time off from modeling and went to Paris and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Business Administration from The American University of Paris.
Sand became Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for May 1996.[1]
Sand began her acting career with a guest appearance on the TV show Renegade.
She appeared in TV shows such as Charmed, and in movies such as the comedy The Deviants (2004).
She plays the main antagonist in the first three seasons of Hollywood Girls (2012 to 2014).

Personal life
Sand was married to Lorenzo Lamas from 1996 to 2002.[3] They had three children. Alexandra Lamas in 1997, Victoria Lamas in 1999, and Isabella Lamas in 2001.
She was married to Romain Chavent for two years, until their divorce in 2008.[4]
She married 25-year-old Laurent Homburger in January 2011 and filed for divorce four months later. She requested a restraining order against Homburger after a fight between the couple on May 18 that resulted in two arrests. Sand was accused of felony domestic violence and Homburger was charged with spousal battery and criminal threats.[5]
She appeared on the plastic surgery show Botched in relation to plastic surgery she wanted in order to repair the keloid scarring on her breasts. The scars were a result of previous breast augmentations. She was informed, however, by Dr. Nassif and Dr. Dubrow that she was pregnant and would have to wait at least 9 months to have the surgery. But soon after, she suffered an unexpected miscarriage. [6]
