Shepherd Mountain

Shepherd Mountain is a summit in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] With an elevation of 1,608 feet (490 m), Shepherd Mountain is the 23rd highest summit in the state of Missouri.[2]

Shepherd Mountain has the name of Forrest Shepherd, a geologist.[3] The mountain was the scene of action during the Battle of Fort Davidson.[4]
