ShowClix is a full-service event-ticketing company headquartered in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.[1] The company provides ticketing solutions that support event organizers around the world by helping them manage ticketing operations, including online and telephone ticket sales, box office management, on-site event operations and event promotion. In November 2013, ShowClix was recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Pittsburgh” by the Pittsburgh Business Times.[2]

History

The company was founded in 2007 by Joshua Dziabiak and Lynsie Campbell, initially as an event registration database. The pair later focused their efforts on creating a web-based ticketing solution.[3][4] Prior to forming the company, Dziabiak met Campbell while working together at Spreadshirt, an online platform for creating and selling personalized apparel.[5]

Services

ShowClix’s event ticketing software supports box office and online ticket sales, as well as an iOS ticket scanner app and a mobile analytics app. The company offers professional account setup, a Customer Care Center for ticket sales and support, and a highly experienced Client Services Department who provide on-site event operations consultations and hands on staff training.[6] ShowClix provides social marketing tools that include Facebook ticket sales and social media sharing incentives.[7]
