Shyla Stylez (born September 23, 1982 in Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada) is the stage name of Amanda Friedland,[4] a Canadian pornographic actress.

She was interested in entering the pornography industry in her teens, later moved to Vancouver and worked as both a stripper and a webcam model, in addition to appearing in nude pictorials. In her off-time, she would contact studios by email and phone to find out how to appear in movies.[5] Style credits Erik Everhard with being the person to formally introduce her to the business.[6] She appeared in her first film, Slap Happy by Anabolic Video, in 2000 at the age of 19. She was received her first AVN Award nomination as Best New Starlet in 2003.

Stylez was involved in a sex scandal with former Orange County assistant-sheriff George Jaramillo, where she was noted as having had several sexual encounters with him.[4] In 2005 she temporarily left the adult industry. She returned to pornography in 2006[7] and therefor was nominated at the 2007 XRCO Awards for the Best Cumback. Stylez hosted the Los Angeles independent TV show Un-Wired TV in 2007.[8][9]

In the following year she was nominated for more AVN Awards, amongst others as Best Supporting Actress, for Best Tease Performance and for her performances in My Plaything: Shyla Stylez and Pirates II. 2010, she was named by Maxim as one of the 12 top female stars in porn.[10] In 2011 and 2016 Shyla Stylez has been inducted into the Halls of Fame of the Urban X Awards and the AVN.
