Sigurður Þorvaldsson (born November 25, 1980) is an Icelandic professional basketball player [1] who currently plays for UMF Snæfell in Iceland. He has also played for Wool!Aris Leeuwarden in Netherlands and ÍR in Iceland.

Sigurður has played 56 games for the Icelandic National Team. [2]

In 2010 Sigurður was member of the Snæfell team that won all four major competitions in Icelandic basketball that year: The National Championship, the Icelandic Cup, the Icelandic Company Cup and the Icelandic Cup Winners' Cup.[3][4]
