Snåsa is a village in and the administrative center of the municipality of Snåsa in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is situated on the northern end of the lake of Snåsavatnet. The Nordland Line runs through the village, serving it at Snåsa Station. Snåsa Church, built in 1200, is located in the village. The 0.87-square-kilometre (210-acre) village has a population (2013) of 652, giving the village a population density of 749 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,940/sq mi).[1]
