Solitario Island

Solitario Island (67°52′S 68°26′W / 67.867°S 68.433°W / -67.867; -68.433Coordinates: 67°52′S 68°26′W / 67.867°S 68.433°W / -67.867; -68.433) is a small island lying 3 nautical miles (6 km) south of the Guébriant Islands, off the south end of Adelaide Island. The name appears on an Argentine government chart of 1957 and is descriptive of the island's position; solitario is a Spanish word meaning solitary.
