Son of Scarface: A Memoir by the Grandson of Al Capone is an autobiography by Chris W. Knight, who alleges that his grandfather was the gangster Al Capone, although this has never been proven.[1]
Synopsis
The autobiography, chronicles the author’s broken childhood as he uncovers family secrets that his abusive mother attempted to keep him and his sister from pursuing.[2][3][4]
As an adult he seeks the truth about both his grandfather and his father,[3] who used a fraudulent birth certificate.[4] After years of genealogical research and the help of private investigators, Chris Knight concludes that he is the actual living grandson of Al Capone, although this has never been proven.[4][5]
Author
Chris W. Knight, who also goes by Chris Knight Capone, is seeking DNA samples from Capone to conclusively prove his family relationship.[4][6] He has also speculated that Al Capone was gay, although there is no evidence to support this claim.[7]
