This is a Chinese name; the family name is Song.

Song Qian was a military general of Eastern Wu during the Three Kingdoms period of China. Song Qian served under Sun Quan and was a noted master at using the crescent halberd.

In fiction

In Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, during the Battle of Xiaoyao Ford, Song was slain in a duel against Li Dian of Cao Cao's forces.
