Sonia Gomes (born 1948) is a contemporary artist from Caetanópolis, Brazil.[1] She is known for her mixed media sculptures made of cloth, wire, and found objects.[2] She was nominated for the PIPA Prize in 2010 and 2016.[3]

Solo Exhibitions

Gomes had her first solo show in the U.S. at Lehmann Maupin Gallery in New York in November 2014.[4]
