The St. John–Lena Border Crossing connects the towns of St. John, North Dakota and Killarney, Manitoba on the Canada–US border. The town of St. John was established in 1882[1] and was named after a parish in Quebec, from where a local missionary originated.[2] The small Canadian community of Lena, and the larger village of Killarney to the north are both unincorporated communities of the Municipality of Killarney-Turtle Mountain.
The United States border station was built in 1937. The Canada border station was built in 1961.
