Stawa Młyny - a beacon (German: Mühlenbake) in the shape of a windmill in Świnoujście, West Pomeranian Voivodeship; in Poland.[1] The beacon acts as a signal for vessels entering the Port of Świnoujście, from the Baltic Sea. The beacon is 10 metres in height; coloured in white with a black colour roof. The beacon was built between 1873-1874 during the modernisation of the ship route into the Port of Świnoujście.[2]

Stawa Młyny is an official symbol of Świnoujście, being part of the Official Logo of Świnoujście,[3] which is characterised with the beacon.[4] The beacon is a popular tourist attraction in Świnoujście and the Island of Uznam; the beacon is known for being featured on postcards of the town, and is popular part for guided tours around Świnoujście.[5]
