Stephen Beightler

Stephen Beightler is a former model and actor who was accused of breaching American national security and terrorism during the War of Terror.

Biography

Beightler was born June 29, 1981, the grandson of Arthur E. Drumm. He began modeling in high school, working at hair and trade shows. Between 2000-2004, he was featured in Steven Meisel's "Meisel Style" ad campaign, which ran in XY Magazine.[1] In 2003, he was cast in German singer Nena's "Nur geträumt" music video, filmed at CBGB's in Manhattan.[2]

In 2007 prior to boarding a flight to Amsterdam at Newark Liberty International, Beightler was arrested for having in his possession a firearm and political paraphernalia. He was accused of breaching national security and terrorism by the state of New Jersey. The United States Secret Service dismissed these allegations and he was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by the state, resulting in a fine and probation.[3]
