Steve Davis is the president and CEO of PATH, an international nonprofit organization based in Seattle, Washington.

Davis earned his BA from Princeton University, his MA in Chinese studies from the University of Washington, and his law degree from Columbia University.

Davis has served as a business leader and advisor for a range of private and nonprofit companies and international organizations. For 14 years he helped run the Bill Gates-founded digital media firm Corbis,[1] including serving as its CEO for ten years. He also was a senior advisor and director of social innovation at McKinsey & Company,[2] a global management consulting firm.

Davis was the interim director of PATH’s program in India in 2010 and served on the organization’s board of directors for ten years.[3] He currently serves as a director on the boards of InterAction[4] and Global Partnerships.[5] He also is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations[6] and holds a faculty appointment as a senior fellow at the University of Washington School of Law.[7]

Steve Davis is president and chief executive office of PATH,[8] the leader in global health innovation. An international nonprofit organization, PATH saves lives, and improves health, especially among women and children. PATH accelerates innovation across five platforms: vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, devices, and system and service innovation.

Davis' long-standing commitment to human rights and global development grew from his early work on refugee programs and policies, and from his later focus on Chinese politics and law. He has employed that same passion as a leader and strategist for a range of private and nonprofit companies and international organizations, including as CEO of internet pioneer and global digital media firm Corbis,[1] director of social innovation for McKinsey & Company,[2] and interim CEO of the Infectious Disease Research Institute. Earlier in his career, he practiced law at the international law firm of K&L Gates[9] with a focus on intellectual property.

Davis is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations[10] and holds a faculty appointment as a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.[11] He currently serves on the boards of InterAction[4] and Global Partnerships,[5] and sits on several advisory groups, including the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Social Innovation,[12] the Clinton Global Initiative's Global Health Advisory Board,[13] the Council on Foreign Relation's Task Force on Non-Infectious Diseases, and Wellcome Trust's Sustaining Health Dialogue.[14] He has previously served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards.
