Sundarapandiam is a panchayat town in Virudhunagar district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census,^[1] Sundarapandiam had a population of 8547. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. About Some Ten years back, while digging the Kovaneri lake, a Big Lingam was found. Sundarapandiam is located at river bed of Arjuna. Many small lakes are located around this place, namely, Senkulum, Periyakulam and karisalkulam. Main source of drinking water is taken under ground. The famous Sadhuragiri hills / temple is very near to this village.
