WHAT CAN STRONG DO FOR YOU?

Sweetwater ISD has a STRONG academic and extracurricular program for our students. STRONG can give you a valuable Dual Credit Program and a great start towards a college degree. Sweetwater ISD offers much more in its college dual credit program than many other schools - with partnerships with Angelo State University, Texas State Technical College, and Western Texas College.

Sweetwater ISD offers free tuition through college partnerships and a local trust.

Sweetwater ISD offers live, face to face, instruction by certified college professors, not online or through distance learning like many other districts.

Sweetwater ISD students can earn 39 college hours through dual credit courses that will transfer through the state common numbering system. When entering college with an associate degree obtained in high school like some other schools offer, many hours are not accepted or counted towards a college degree program, thus being counted only as electives those students.

Sweetwater ISD offered experienced career guidance with certified counselors, which begins prior to students entering high school and continues until graduation.

Sweetwater ISD seniors are awarded an average of $800,000.00 in scholarships each year.
