Tage Nathaniel Thompson (born October 30, 1997) is an American ice hockey center, currently playing college ice hockey for the Connecticut Huskies in the NCAA's Hockey East conference. Thompson was selected 26th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.[1] His father was a former NHL player, Brent Thompson. Thompson was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but grew up in Oyster Bay, New York.

Playing career

Thompson appeared in all 36 games during his freshman season at UCONN and was second on the team with 32 points on 14 goals and 18 assists. He also led the nation with 13 power play goals.[2]
