Tarushcancha[1][2] (Ancash Quechua taruka, tarush deer, kancha corral,[3] "deer corral") or Chaqchipuncu[4] is a 5,345 m (17,536 ft) high[4][5] mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru.[5] It is situated in the Ancash Region, Asunción Province, Chacas District.[2] Tarushcancha lies in Huascarán National Park, northeast of Atlante[5] and southeast of Yacuihuarmi.[5]
