Tedd Gassman (born March 6, 1943) is the Iowa State Representative from the 7th District.[1] A Republican, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2013.

As of January 2013, Gassman serves on several committees in the Iowa House – the Education, Environmental Protection, Judiciary, and Local Government committees. He also serves as the vice chair of the Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee.

Biography

Born in Valentine, Nebraska, Tedd grew up in Todd County, South Dakota and graduated from Todd County High School in 1961. Graduated from Southern State Teachers College in Springfield, South Dakota with a B.S.E. with a major in math and a minor in physics in 1965.

Tedd taught school until 1975 and has been in business for himself since that time. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Mary Joell and they have three grown children.
