Terry Tarnoff

Terry Tarnoff (born May 2, 1947) is an American writer. Tarnoff was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the son of Russian immigrants. He grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is author of the book, The Bone Man of Benares (ISBN 0-312-32447-2), published by St. Martin's Press. The book has been published in seven countries and five languages. As a playwright Tarnoff adapted The Bone Man of Benares into a one-man show that premiered at San Francisco's Encore Theatre. He has written a number of screenplays, five of which have been optioned in Hollywood. He has also released a CD of his music entitled Addictions & Abstractions. Terry Tarnoff lives and works in San Francisco.
