The Essential Black Sorrows is the third greatest hits album by Australian blues and roots band, The Black Sorrows. It was released by The Black Sorrows' formal label ten days after Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons were announces as inductees into the ARIA Hall of Fame on 18 July 2007.[1] Jo Jo Zep was the stage name of the Black Sorrows' lead singer Joe Camilleri.[2] The tracks are in chronological order of single release and are lifted from The Black Sorrows' five top twenty albums.[3]
