The Museum of Health Care of Uzbekistan is one of the unique constructions in modern Uzbekistan. Uzbek government pays big attention to the health of the citizens and the museum plays big role in the health care of Uzbekistan. “The Museum of Health Care of Uzbekistan” was established in order to contribute right information about the medicine and hygiene among the Uzbek people in interesting way.[1]

“The Museum of Health Care of Uzbekistan” was first established in 1973 for contributing essential health care information by the professor Mikhail Yakovlevich Yarovinskiy, who was working in the Medical Academy of Moscow. The collection at the “The Museum of Health Care of Uzbekistan” is estimated to be about 12 thousand exponents which are related to the health care, which are located in 6 departments. At the “The Museum of Health Care of Uzbekistan” visitors can see the sculptures, documents which are related to the modern medicine. In addition to this, there are some exponents which show some facts from the history of medicine with the photographs and archeological findings. The mostly watched exponent at the museum is the collection of surgery tools which was made by professionals, who were inspired with the Ibn-Sina’s historical writings. There are only 5 museums in the same theme in whole post Soviet Union times Republics, and one of them is located in Tashkent city, Uzbekistan.

The walls at the “The Museum of Health Care of Uzbekistan” are decorated in east style of Middle Ages, and there is monument for the “Abu Ali Ibn Sina”, who was of the greatest medicine representatives of Uzbekistan. In the main parts of the building, the exponents are mainly about the history of medicine and about the hygiene. Another big part of the building of “The Museum of Health Care of Uzbekistan” is related to the medical cleaning.[2]
