The Wailer

The Wailer (Spain: La Llorona) is a 2004 short film, based on the folklore of La Llorona. The film was directed by Andres Navia and starred Saida Santana, Alfredo Villa, and Paco Sagárzazu. The running time of the film is approximately 14 minutes.

The DVD of the film was released in 2006.

The Wailer is also the title of a direct-to-video movie released in 2006, set in Mexico. This had a 2007 sequel, The Wailer II.
