Biography

Stavros' first major production was the feature film 10 Seconds, which tells the story of Eder Jofre, the biggest boxing bantamweight of all time. In 2006, Thomas bought the rights to the biography and began to write and produce the film. He spent 7 years exclusively dedicated to this project. In January 2015, after 10 years of work he was able to approve the film 10 Seconds, his first project as Showrunner - where he is the creator, screenwriter, and producer,[1] which is produced by Globo Filmes in partnership with Tambellini Filmes. Breno Silveira and Chico Abreia are also producers, and the movie was directed by José Alvarenga Jr. In addition to Daniel de Oliveira as Eder Jofre, the film features Osmar Prado, Ravel Andrade, Sandra Corveloni, Samuel Toledo and Ricardo Gelli.

Thomas attended the School of Theater, Television and Cinema Nilton Travesso. Acted in several theater performances, debuting at the age of 13 as Alegria Clown of the French assembly in SP, in 5 different shows. Among others, he performed in The Doors of Heaven directed by Rogério Marinho, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Saturday Night Fever, directed by Albano Sargaço. In 2001 he wrote his first play: Clube Privê - A Comedy in the Foolish 70's - Creation - Script - Direction - Acting; It was 7 years in a row. Has performed in more than 10 cities. More than 200 thousand spectators have already attended the show. It was considered one of the 10 best comedies in the country by Bravo Magazine.

In 2012, at the request of Breno Silveira, he collaborates with the script of Gonzaga - de Pai para Filho. In 2013 he founded Produção Carioca, where he signed the creation and direction of more than 30 institutional movies. He also began to develop TV programs and series projects.

He was invited to join the scriptwriters team of the TV series, Acerto de Contas, produced by Mariza Leão and directed by José Joffily, which aired on MultiShow Channel in August 2014, hitting a record audience.[2]

In the same year he approved another TV series of his own creation, 1 Contra Todos, where besides creator, also acted as writer, with production of the Conspiração Filmes for the Fox Channel, directed by Breno Silveira. This TV series was considered by the media as the Brazilian Breaking Bad.[3] Starring: Júlio Andrade, Júlia Ianina, Silvio Guindani, Roberto Birindelli, Caio Junqueira, Adriano Garibe, Thogun Teixeira, Gustavo Novaes, Sacha Bali and Stepan Nercessian. The 1st season of 1 Contra Todos was shown in 2016 throughout Latin America. The series increased the channel's audience by 74%.[4] Due to the great success, already confirmed for at least 2 more seasons, for 2017 and 2018.[5]

He was invited to write another TV series, Sem Volta, by its creator and writer Gustavo Lipzstein. It is the first series of action and adventure of Brazil.[6] A super production of Record Channel. At the same time he wrote the musical Ceará Show - Agora eu Conheço, in partnership with Silvio Guindane (who also signs the direction of the show) and songs by Rodrigo Maranhão, which premiered in August 2016.

In the second half of 2016 he wrote the screenplay for the super film production, Polícia Federal - A Lei é Para Todos,[7] the first film to portray Operation Car Wash, directed by Marcelo Antunez. In the cast: Rodrigo Lombardi, Flavia Alessandra, Antonio Calloni, Bruce Gomlevsky, Roberto Birindelli, Samuel Toledo and Rainer Cadet.
