Thore Heramb

Thore Heramb in 1949.

Thore Heramb (29 December 1916 16 June 2014) was a Norwegian painter and illustrator. He was born in Kristiania. Among his works are the wall decoration Fossen from 1947–48, the painting Rød figur i blå sofa from 1950, and the triptykon Palestina-trio from 1973–79. The Norwegian Museum of Contemporary Art has acquired twenty of his works, and he is represented in several galleries in Norway, as well as in the national galleries in Copenhagen and Stockholm.[1][2][3]
