Coptotriche badiiella is a moth of the family Tischeriidae. It is found in North America, including Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia,[1] Arkansas, the District of Columbia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Ontario.[2]
The larvae feed on Quercus species, including Quercus alba and Quercus palustris. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of an ovate blotch mine.[3]
