Toby Rimes

Toby Rimes (sometimes spelled Tobey Rimes[1]) is a poodle with an estimated net worth of $92 million USD.[2] He is descended from a poodle of the same name who was owned by New York City millionaire Ella Wendel in 1931.[3] When Ella died, she left her dog an amount that has been reported as being anywhere from $30 million[2] to $80 million USD.[4][5] All of that dog's offspring have been named Toby Rimes and have since inherited the money.

Toby Rimes is an urban legend about a real dog named Tobey.[6] According to New York city attorney Mervin Rosenman who viewed Ella Wendel's will and probate file for his book on the battle for the Wendel estate, Ella Wendel made "no designation of the person to care for him and no bequest of money for his support."
