Tom Harrison (cricketer)

Tom Harrison (born 11 December 1971) is an English cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Derbyshire during his first-class cricketing career. He is the current chief executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).[1]

Harrison, who had previously played for Northamptonshire and Worcestershire, joined Derbyshire in 1995, and played for them during the 1995 County Championship.

A middle-lower order batsman, his debut came against Nottinghamshire in 1995, where he bowled steadily. He was not to play in the County Championship beyond the 1995 season, however, during 2006 he has played for Marylebone Cricket Club, for whom he scored a century in his first, and so far only, match.

On 7 October 2014 he was appointed chief executive of the ECB succeeding David Collier.
