Tommy Lange (born July 11, 1987 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American Ice Hockey Left Winger.

Hockey career

Junior Hockey

Lange began his Junior Hockey career by playing for the Boston Harbor Wolves of the Tier III Junior A Eastern Junior Hockey League for the 2004-05 season.[1] For the 2005-06 season, he played with the St. Louis Jr. Blues of the Central States Hockey League. In 49 games with the Jr. Blues, Tommy had 34 goals, 33 assists, totaling 77 points, and 73 penalty minutes.[1] For the 2006-07 season, Lange split the season between the Halifax Wolverines of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League and the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL.[1] Lange only played 6 games for the Sea Dogs after joining the team, scoring 1 goal and accruing 4 penalty minutes.[1]

Lange did not play Hockey during the 2007-08 season.[1]

Professional hockey

Tommy Lange made his professional Hockey debut in the 2008-09 season with the Kalamazoo Wings of the IHL (later of the ECHL).[1] That season, he accumulated 49 points (25 goals and 24 assists) and 73 Penalty Minutes in 75 regular season games played.[1] That same season, he accumulated 3 points (1 goal and 2 assists) and 8 Penalty Minutes in 6 playoff games played.[1]

For the 2009-10 season, Lange signed with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL.[2] After playing 10 games for the Walleye, he was released by the team.[3] On November 29, 2009, Lange re-signed with the Kalamazoo Wings, but would only play 4 more games for the team before being released by the team on December 7, 2009.[1][4][5] On December 22, 2009, Lange signed with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League, for which he would play 17 games over the rest of the season.[1][6]

Lange spent the 2010-11 season out of Hockey.[1]

For the 2011-12 season, Lange signed with White Caps Turnhout of the Belgian Hockey League and the North Sea Cup on September 14, 2011.[7] After 23 games with Turnhout, Lange signed with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL on January 16, 2012.[1][8] After 15 games with the Steelheads, he was traded to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL in exchange for Steven Tarasuk on March 8, 2012.[9] After 5 games with the Reign, he was released by the team on March 23, 2012.[1][10]
